yippee...

usually families have two cars. that's what we've had most of the time, although at one point we had five cars, and that was when the kids were little! for the last two+ years we've gotten along just fine with only one car, but since i'm supposedly getting this government job and the husband is getting a part-time job, we decided we better get a second car.

so we've been looking at the lot here in town and have perused the papers and have checked car facts and made phone calls and done drive-bys. finally we found, almost by accident, a little medium blue, 4-door '99 buick le sabre. we both fell in love with it as soon as we got in and sat down -- it was so comfy, had plenty of leg room and an old-fashioned feel, so the quiet engine and smooth ride clinched it. we drove away with it the same day, feeling like we got a good deal. here's hoping it doesn't throw us any unpleasant surprises.
