doesn't anybody have any integrity anymore?

it's time for bed, but i have to say first that i am really unhappy with my doctor's office. as i've observed the doctors in this area for the last 8 or 10 years, it has seemed that lately 'service' has gone down the drain.

my doctor's office has finally gotten to where they do the e-mail thing, but apparently it's the nurses who look at the e-mails and they're not just real whippy. i asked them to check on a small pill because the one i'm taking is huge. i researched it myself after not getting much help the last time i was in the office. there is a smaller pill, so i e-mailed them and gave them the details, asking them to fax in a new prescription.

they answered back that they can't tell the pharmacy which pill to prescribe. what? i know that the doctor can say not to use a generic pill. isn't this the same thing? pissed me off. now the pharmaceutical industry is god. fucking lawyers are driving this i'm sure.

and the next time i'm in the doctor office, if he's as indifferent and unhelpful as he's been the last two times, i may have to look around. which will be difficult since we are at least 30 miles from doctors on one side and have a foreign country on the other. time to move.

prime playground for bad guys

hey criminals, have i got a hot tip for you. you can do anything you want (rape, murder, robbery, drugs, etc) and the most jail-time you can get is 21 years! in luxury! because they think they can rehabilitate  you. hahahahaha.... isn't that the funniest thing you ever heard?!

'where' you ask? norway, of course. just a-hop-and-a-skip away and the country is yours to bedevil anyway you like. i encourage you to leave this country and get over there as fast as you can. it'll all be gravy!

they are sooooo bad...

i have always thought the majority of women were HORRIBLE drivers. they're timid, they have faulty judgement, and when they get behind the wheel they turn into sleepy sheep.

what? do you say you don't agree? you must have never driven in seattle traffic. or in a parking lot. or on a very narrow two-lane road.

you still insist women aren't that bad? well, then ... watch this video. it could be anywhere, but it happens to be in poland. this isn't even a typical video -- it's much, much worse than most drivers i've seen. and not just the one -- there are two of them!!

the dotted line

it's just so silly when you have a product that you're supposed to open by pushing in on the dotted line which has supposedly been intermittenly slit to make it easier. ha! for some ungodly reason that slitted line seems reinforced so that it can't be opened, and you end up pushing in the whole side of the container and breaking your fingernail. what, exactly, are they thinking?

and then there are those little individual pill containers which indicate you simply have to pull back the backing and extricate your pill. ha! i'm sure they weld the backing to the container edge so that the only way to get to the pill is to stab the container with your magic sword. again, what are they thinking?

oh good grief!

oh, this is so typical of the way some people think:

since it's probably a crap-shoot as to when a computer would become infected, i wonder if it would help to turn off your computer when you're not actively on it, like when you head for bed or leave the house. dang these hackers, taking away all my fear-free fun and changing my innocence!!!

14,000 vs 460 million. i agree that $14,000 seems a little low to compensate for a ruined holiday, ruined clothes, frightening experience, inconvenience, etc. but $460 million? fucking lawyers are the leading cause of insanity in this country today. okay, one of the leading causes. sheesh.

a flaw in the system

okay wait. so this one sleezy mother kills her twin daughters and she's probably going to end up in jail for life. and then this sleezy dad beats his 6-month old baby and renders his blind and brain damaged and he gets eight years.

just what kind of justice is this? yes the mother should be put away for killing the babies. but the father should be castrated at the least. eight years is absolutely no punishment for the horror of what he did to that kid. it's beyond disgusting.

too late for her

i will be simply amazed if this child grows up to be a productive member of society. she is clearly spoiled and probably demented if she's gone this long without discipline or direction. my guess is that she will commit some crime and end up in jail, or become a tough guy's mol and end up being killed. so be it as long as she doesn't come in contact with me and mine.

be careful what you eat -- it may be moldy. see this article about food companies who take food which really should be thrown away, and simply trim it up or repackage it and put it out there for purchase. it's called reconditioning.

i am so sick of that kind of response. the criminal does something bad, someone investigates or defends himself, and that poor poor misbegotten criminal gets paid lots of money.

i don't know, i just think it's weird. i mean, back in the day you always dressed up to go to church. you wore your sunday best. i always wore skirts. the husband says he always wore a suit.

i just saw a pix of maria and arnie exiting church and she had on leather knee-high biker boots, black tights, a black t-shirt, a grey shirt, and a black jacket. man, i am soooooooo out of it.

but isn't there something about the way you dress shows how you feel about yourself? yes, i know that times change but there are so many people out there wearing very unappealing, unflattering fashions. to say nothing of the hollywood crowd and their sleazy slutty creations. or ... maybe i'm just out of it.

sick of them all

my father was a good man who believed in equality and tolerance, and that's the way he brought up us kids. over the years, however, particularly the last ten years, i have become less accepting.

for example, asians who cross the border here in our town have appalling bathroom habits. in the restrooms of the state park on the border and in the restroom in the port of entry, many asians stand on the stool seat to go to the bathroom. often they miss. their weight breaks the stool seat. i have no tolerance of this behavior. if they do not know any better than to go to the bathroom this way, keep them out of the country.

muslim people are a new group which is losing my good faith. at an elementary school in ft collins colorado recently, the american flag was lowered and the saudi arabian flag was raised. there is no reason that should have happened. and then there was the incident at the new york theme park. a group of muslims made plans to go to the park and when the women wanted to ride some of the rides, they were told they could not unless they removed their head scarves. in fact, they had been told that many times before their group arrived. it was a safety issue. and the muslims turned it into a hate issue.

ANY group of people who live in this country but will not honor our flag, speak our language, and pledge to uphold the values this country holds, should leave and never come back. or be thrown out, whichever.

i'm really sick of people in other countries being down on americans, and sick of people in this country being down on americans. political correctness has become a disgusting joke and a way to file law suits. americans are good people with many religions and ways of life. but when you want to walk all over us, and put your beliefs ahead of ours, go live someplace else.
